She also has problem of stealing with her friends. She had 10 sessions of sand play therapy during her stay at Seoul City Dongbu Child Guidance Center from Oct. 2004 to Feb. 2005. Sand play therapy helps the clients to express their inner experiences in the sand tray without verbalization and interpretation because it is the therapeutic process through symbolic experience in the ¡¯protected scene¡¯ without verbalization. It can be a good field of communication for the children lacking communication ability through verbalization. It helps the clients express their traumas and difficulties well without verbalization by touching sands and putting the miniatures in the sand tray in a natural way. This is sand play therapy case of a girl who overcoming her problematic behaviors, traumas and little power of concentration and gradually becomes stable despite a short duration of therapy.
